Best Crypto Exchange Widgets for Embedded Swaps: 2026 Review

An embedded swap widget lets a visitor exchange one crypto asset for another without leaving the page they are on. Routing and settlement run on the provider’s side, and the host site earns a share of each completed transaction.

What separates the five widgets below is how the visitor completes that swap. We chose ChangeNOW as the best crypto exchange widget for embedded swaps, mainly because its flow suits the widest range of visitors, including people who have never installed a wallet extension. Each of the other four handles a narrower case well.

How We Ranked the Widgets

We checked each widget against its provider’s own pages and documentation, then compared them on three points that matter once the widget is live in your product.

  • Embedded options. How the widget goes onto the page, and what the visitor needs to finish a swap. A script tag or iframe takes minutes to set up. React teams can install an npm package instead. On the visitor’s side, a deposit-address widget works for anyone holding crypto, and a wallet-connect widget needs a compatible wallet plus a signature for each transaction.
  • Coverage. Here we counted the assets and chains one integration reaches. When the pair someone came for is missing, they leave to swap somewhere else, so breadth decides how many visits end in a completed swap.
  • Partner earnings. What the host site keeps from each swap, and how the money arrives. We looked at the base rate and whether it can be adjusted, along with the payout currency and any withdrawal minimum.

1. ChangeNOW

ChangeNOW’s versatile embeddable swap widget runs on deposit addresses, so a visitor completes the swap without an account or a wallet connection. A standard flow and a fixed-rate flow are both available, and the fixed-rate option locks the quoted amount when price certainty matters.

Coverage spans more than 1,500 assets. Those combine into over 2.25 million exchange pairs, drawn from both centralized and decentralized liquidity with more than 90 networks.

The embed is an iframe with a supporting script, and a WordPress plugin covers sites built on that platform. The customizer sets colors, dark mode, layout, logo visibility, language, the default pair, and the default amount.

ChangeNOW activates the fiat on- and off-ramp if needed, which is the most competitive advantage for a widget.

ChangeNOW pays partners from 0.4% of widget volume, with room to set a different rate for any asset or pair. Withdrawal becomes available at $100, in any of 11 provided cryptocurrencies.

2. RocketX

RocketX lists more than 20,000 tokens across 200-plus blockchains. A hybrid router draws on over 500 centralized and decentralized exchanges at once.

RocketX’s widget page promises account-free swaps, with every fee shown up front. Cross-chain moves such as Ethereum to Solana run as one-click transfers, usually finishing within 1 to 15 minutes.

Integration runs through copied widget code or a JavaScript SDK, and both use an API key from the partner portal. Design and swap behavior are configurable.

RocketX’s platform fee varies by route, starting at $1 or 0.2% to 0.4% of the swap. Widget partners can receive up to 90% of that fee, with the top tier tied to holding RVF, the platform’s native token. Zokyo and Network Intelligence are among the firms that have audited it.

3. Houdini Swap

Houdini Swap is built around privacy and runs non-custodially across more than 120 networks.

A private swap passes through two non-custodial exchanges with a temporary Layer 1 asset in between, which breaks the on-chain link between sender and receiver. Houdini puts that route at 5 to 50 minutes. Speed-focused visitors can pick No Wallet Connect, which goes through one exchange and wraps up in about 3 to 10 minutes.

Embedding takes one iframe, and a basic embed runs without a backend or an API key. URL parameters preselect tokens and hide tabs, while custom colors and fonts are planned for a Widget SDK.

Partner commissions accrue in a dashboard and are withdrawn to an EVM wallet. The rate is arranged with Houdini directly.

4. Transak

Transak covers the part of an embedded flow that involves money rather than tokens. Visitors buy crypto with a card or bank payment and receive it in their own wallet, and the off-ramp runs the same route in reverse. NFT checkout with fiat is available as a separate product.

Transak’s own figures put coverage at 136+ cryptocurrencies on 45+ blockchains. It operates in more than 63 countries and accepts 26 fiat currencies. Payment options include cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, SEPA, Faster Payments and open banking.

Integration comes in several forms: an iframe, a JavaScript SDK, a redirect, mobile WebViews and a white-label API. Transak handles KYC and compliance on its side of the flow. A staging key is available immediately, while a production key requires KYB approval.

Partners add their own fee on top of Transak’s base fee, up to 5%. Earnings are paid monthly in USDC or USDT, and balances under $20 roll over to the next month. More than 600 apps run Transak today.

5. Rango

Rango’s widget brings a cross-chain DEX and bridge aggregator onto your page. It covers more than 55 blockchains and routes through over 150 DEXs and aggregators, linked by 30+ bridges.

That reach goes well past EVM networks. Bitcoin, Solana, TON, and Tron are all supported, so visitors can move assets between ecosystems from the same widget.

Rango’s widget playground exports a ready configuration, so the theme and default pair can be chosen visually and pasted straight into the build.

Integrators earn an affiliate fee on the input amount, 0.1% by default and adjustable up to 3%. The fee excludes swaps that start on Solana or Tron, along with Cosmos chains.

Conclusion

Picking an embedded swap widget comes down to who your visitors are and what they already hold. Wallet-connect widgets serve visitors who keep crypto in a browser wallet.

In this listicle, we feature an adaptable ChangeNOW widget that covers a broad range of use cases. Its deposit-address flow, extensive asset coverage, and optional fiat support mean that a single widget can serve most of the visitors a crypto site is likely to attract.

For audiences already working in connected wallets across many chains, RocketX is the good match. Houdini Swap belongs on sites where privacy is the draw. Transak covers the card-payment side, while Rango suits React teams that want to configure the embed in code.
