Ethereum Price Eyes $2,460 as BlackRock Leads $53M ETF Inflows

Key Insights

  • Ethereum price traded near $2,416, facing resistance between $2,430 and $2,460.
  • Ethereum ETFs attracted $53.02 million, ending five consecutive outflow sessions.
  • BlackRock’s ETHA led inflows with $32.75 million, while ETHB lost $22.38 million.

Ethereum price hovered near $2,416 on Nov. 5 as U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs attracted $53.02 million in net inflows. The Nov. 4 inflows ended five consecutive trading sessions of withdrawals, signaling renewed institutional interest. However, ETH continued to face resistance between $2,430 and $2,460, leaving the recovery dependent on stronger buying momentum.

TradingView’s daily chart showed Ethereum price trading at $2,416, below the $2,430–$2,460 resistance zone. ETH reached a session high of $2,433.80 before retreating, indicating continued selling pressure near resistance.

Meanwhile, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) climbed to 53.49, crossing above the neutral 50 level. This suggested improving buying momentum, although Ethereum had yet to confirm a breakout. A sustained move above $2,460 could strengthen the recovery and bring $2,600 into focus.

Ethereum Price Gains Support as ETFs Record $53M Inflows

Ethereum price drew fresh attention after Farside Investors showed that the US Spot ETH ETFs recorded around $53 million in net inflows on Nov. 4. BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust ETF, ETHA, attracted $32.8 million, while Fidelity’s FETH received $19.2 million.

Grayscale’s smaller ETH fund added $13.6 million, and its ETHE product gained $9.7 million. Those gains helped offset $22.4 million in withdrawals from BlackRock’s ETHB fund. The two BlackRock products therefore registered different investor flows during the same session.

Farside’s historical figures showed a mixed picture across issuers. The positive daily total followed losses of $85.3 million on Nov. 3 and $139.7 million on Nov. 2. Earlier, the funds lost $155.7 million on Oct. 30. These withdrawals indicated that one positive session had not erased the preceding selling pressure. Market participants also faced a longer stretch of weak October demand, rather than an isolated daily decline.

The same dataset showed five consecutive negative trading days from Oct. 27 through Nov. 3. Ethereum ETFs had also attracted $4.4 million on Oct. 23, before withdrawals resumed. Therefore, the Nov. 4 inflow marked a reversal in daily direction, not an established trend. Farside also recorded $270 million in inflows on Sept. 21, ruling out a six-week record.

Ethereum price remained sensitive to the distinction between a single-session rebound and sustained institutional demand. Fund creations and redemptions measure investor activity in listed products. They do not establish that an ETF caused a particular spot-market move. Further trading sessions would provide a clearer measure of whether institutions continued adding exposure.

Bitcoin ETF Flows Show Mixed Institutional Demand

Bitcoin ETF data provided a broader comparison. The Nov. 4 figures showed roughly $74.6 million in net inflows for U.S. spot Bitcoin funds. Fidelity’s FBTC attracted about $236.7 million, while BlackRock’s IBIT lost roughly $201.2 million. Although the group total turned positive, its largest products moved in opposite directions.

This divergence matters when comparing Ethereum ETFs with Bitcoin ETF flows. A positive aggregate can hide withdrawals from individual large issuers. It also limits conclusions about an across-the-board return of institutional buying.

Ethereum price therefore deserves a separate technical assessment rather than an assumption drawn from combined fund totals. The BTC price recovery and Ether’s rebound occurred alongside the inflows, but timing alone does not prove causation.

Ethereum Price Targets $2,460 as RSI Signals Recovery

Ethereum price approached the lower edge of the marked $2,430–$2,460 resistance zone. On the supplied TradingView chart, recent trading repeatedly encountered selling around that region. A daily close above $2,460 would strengthen the case for a move toward $2,600. That scenario depends on buyers holding the breakout rather than briefly crossing resistance.

Conversely, rejection around $2,430 could leave Ethereum vulnerable to renewed selling. The chart showed a nearby trading area around $2,200, followed by the larger $1,800 zone. Neither represents a guaranteed destination. They mark previous price regions where buyers and sellers exchanged control.

The 14-day relative strength index rose to 53.49, while its displayed average sat at 37.42. That separation suggested improving short-term momentum after the recent weakness. Still, the indicator did not confirm a lasting upward trend.

Ethereum price would require stronger follow-through before that reading supported a broader recovery thesis. The chart did not display a 50-day exponential moving average. That prevented confirmation of claims that Ether reclaimed it.

Ethereum price therefore faced two separate tests: continued ETF subscriptions and a daily break above $2,460. A failure at resistance could weaken the near-term recovery, even if one day of fund inflows remained positive. The analysis uses chart levels and published fund flows, not a guaranteed forecast.
