ASST Stock Surged About 6% Following New SATS Nasdaq Listing

Key Insights:

  • ASST Stock Price gained nearly 6% following the SATS Nasdaq Listing.
  • Strive sold 7 million preferred shares at $90, raising $630 million.
  • SATS pays a cumulative 15% annual dividend, with payments requiring board approval.

ASST Stock Price rose nearly 6% as the SATS Nasdaq Listing followed Strive’s preferred share offering. The company closed an upsized IPO, raising $630 million to purchase Bitcoin and income-generating assets.

The transaction introduced a second preferred security alongside SATA, with different dividend terms and a separate position within Strive’s capital structure.

ASST Stock Price Rises as SATS Nasdaq Listing Follows Upsized Offering

Under the recent offering, the Bitcoin treasury company sold seven million shares of its 15.00% Series A Perpetual SATS Preferred Stock. Investors paid $90 per share, compared with the security’s $100 stated amount. The company announced the closing alongside plans to begin trading on Nasdaq Global Market around October 20, 2026.

Following the SATS Nasdaq Listing, Chairman and CEO Matt Cole outlined the company’s objectives for the additional financing. He described the transaction as part of Strive’s strategy to maximize common shareholders’ long-term total returns.

Specifically, Cole said maintaining a high Amplification Ratio is central to the company’s goal of outperforming Bitcoin over time. He also said SATS adds junior capital beneath SATA, strengthening that security’s credit profile.

Regarding the securities’ respective designs, Cole described SATA as targeting price stability and SATS as targeting income stability. These stated objectives accompanied the financing announcement as ASST Stock Price advanced during the session.

Meanwhile, Chief Investment Officer Ben Werkman described the fixed-rate perpetual instrument as an expansion of Strive’s securities offerings. He said the company seeks to match individual products with investors’ distinct objectives.

Werkman added that the product range combines different security structures with institutional liquidity. He linked that approach to the company’s stated commitment to long-term value creation.

SATS Nasdaq Listing Introduces Business-Day Dividend Schedule

Alongside the SATS Nasdaq Listing, the offering documentation set cumulative annual dividends at 15% of each share’s stated amount. That calculation uses $100 per share, rather than the IPO purchase price.

However, dividend payments depend on declarations from Strive’s board or a duly authorized committee. The terms also require that legally available funds be available before the company makes those payments.

For the payment calendar, regular dividend dates fall on each business day under the governing documentation. The schedule begins November 9, 2026, with payments covering the preceding regular dividend period in arrears.

Additionally, eligibility depends on ownership at the close of business on the applicable preceding regular record date. If declared in full, the first payment includes all accrued, unpaid dividends from the offering’s closing date onward.

On those obligations, Chief Risk Officer Jeff Walton said holders can continuously monitor Strive’s Bitcoin balance sheet. He contrasted that visibility with reporting available only four times annually.

Walton added that Strive has no debt or maturities and focuses on its dividend obligation. He also described its instruments as suitable for portfolio decisions involving artificial intelligence, trading algorithms, and advanced computing.

Strive conducted the offering under a Form S-3 registration statement through a prospectus supplement and accompanying prospectus. Its wholly owned subsidiary, Strive Asset Management, LLC, manages more than 2.8 billion dollars in assets. The subsidiary operates as an investment adviser registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
